Corporate Engagement Newsletter – January/February 2024

Hi Friend,

We hope you’re having a great start to 2024! Thank you for your support of March of Dimes’ mission. We’re making significant strides in our research, advocacy, and programmatic work. Our research teams have recently published groundbreaking studies on preterm birth prevention. Our advocacy teams have successfully lobbied for policies that expand health coverage and medical leave for new parents at both state and national levels. And our programs and education continue to expand, providing vital services and resources to so many families across the country when they need it most.

Corporate partners like your company fuel our fight to eliminate racial disparities in maternal and infant health. Corporate support is bringing our mobile health centers to maternity care deserts, and helping us launch critical awareness campaigns. We’ll keep up this momentum as we develop more ways to support families facing pregnancy complications or with a baby in the NICU, and we’ll continue to drive innovation in preterm birth prevention and treatment.

And Friend, you make all of this possible! We invite you to watch this quick video from our President and CEO, Dr. Elizabeth Cherot, as she reflects on what we achieved last year and what we aim to accomplish in 2024. It’s only with corporate support that we can help more families experience the joy of a healthy pregnancy and birth.

March for Babies corporate sponsorships now available

March for Babies is our signature campaign that mobilizes thousands of families and company teams across the nation to march for healthy moms and strong babies. This campaign also celebrates the support of hundreds of local and national corporate partners.

Corporate partnerships are now available for March for Babies, which runs April through June 2024 in all major metropolitan areas of the country. This campaign offers sponsors powerful marketing opportunities that carry high relevance and visibility with our core audience: moms. And when today’s consumers think a brand has a strong purpose, they’re 4X more likely to trust the company [Accelerist, 2022].

In addition, companies can show their support through a March for Babies Employee Team, where colleagues come together to fundraise and participate as a group in their local walk. The result is a joyful employee engagement experience that has a direct impact on the health of families.
