Center for Inherited Disease Research   
CIDR is a centralized facility established to provide genotyping and statistical genetics services for investigators seeking to identify genes that contribute to human disease. CIDR concentrates primarily on multi-factorial hereditary diseases, although linkage analysis of single gene disorders can also be accommodated.

Clinical Genetics: A Self Study for Health Care Professionals
An online study guide that helps health care providers (1) identify individuals and families who might benefit from genetic services, (2) assist them in accessing these services, and (3) answer questions they might have following a genetic consultation.

Communities of Color and Genetics Policy Project
A five-year project designed to provide policy recommendations based on public perceptions and responses to the explosion of genetic information and technology. The project also tests the process of community dialogue as an effective means to engage citizens in thoughtful and productive discussions about policy needs regarding genetic information and technology and other value-laden issues.

Family Village    
The Family Village is a global community that integrates information, resources, and communication opportunities on the Internet for persons with cognitive and other disabilities, for their families, and for those that provide them services and support. The community includes informational resources on specific diagnoses, communication connections, adaptive products and technology, adaptive recreational activities, education, worship, health issues and disability-related media.

GeneTests
GeneTests is a publicly funded medical genetics information resource developed for physicians, other health care providers, and researchers, available at no cost to all interested persons.

Genes at Work
This Web site informs health care professionals about human genetics including diagnosis and testing, clinical management and resources. The information is relevant to traditional areas of clinical genetic interest (such as pediatrics, obstetrics and oncology) and all other areas of practice including cardiology, hematology, surgery, internal medicine and family practice.

Genethics
This Web site describes a wide variety of ethical issues in genetics. It contains the names and locations of ethicists interested in genetics, references, and information on topics such as gene therapy, testing, privacy and discrimination.
