2008 Maryland-National Capital Area Chapter Community Grants The March of Dimes provides grants to community groups to assist in the development of local services. The Maryland-National Capital Area Chapter is proud to announce its support of several programs in 2008, providing grants and awards totaling $248,140. Support the March of Dimes Through the Combined Federal Campaign The Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) is the annual fundraising drive conducted by Federal employees and military personnel each fall in their workplace. The March of Dimes has a new CFC number for the campaign: 77006. Nine Questions to Ask Your Doctor or Nurse Before and During Pregnancy We often don't know why premature birth happens. We do know there are things you can do today to help give your baby a better chance of a healthy and full-term birth. Donating is easy online, by phone or mail / fax. Toll Road Investors Partnership II, L.P., owner of the Dulles Greenway, held its third annual Drive for Charity on Thursday, May 15.  Tolls collected that day were donated to the March of Dimes and five other charities.  This year's event raised more than $198,000.  Funding from last year’s event enabled the March of Dimes to start a NICU Family Support project at Inova Fairfax Hospital for Children and provide support materials to Inova Loudoun Hospital.
