Network Weatherman Welcomes WalkAmerica



Donning pink and blue WalkAmerica baseball caps, March of Dimes volunteers from Famous Footwear, Kmart, CIGNA and Discovery Health Channel set up outside NBC Studios in New York City to appear on NBC’s number one rated morning program the Today Show this morning, April 19, 2004.  Moments later weatherman and anchor, Al Roker who incidentally was born prematurely, spoke with Rick Martino (front row center), March of Dimes Sr. VP of Human Resources about this weekend’s upcoming WalkAmerica in 1100 communities across the country.  Be sure to sign up by visiting WalkAmerica.org or calling 1-800-525-WALK to help prevent premature births and birth defects.
