Discovery Health's Baby Madness Gives Baby Fans A Courtside Seat During March Madness

-- BABY MADNESS, Hosted by March of Dimes Volunteer James Brown, Premieres Saturday, March 31, 6 to 9 PM (ET/PT) --

(Silver Spring, Md.) – The brackets are out and James Brown, a March of Dimes volunteer since 2003, is in the studio…but the dribbling on this hardwood doesn't involve basketballs.  Whether or not you are a hoops fan, Discovery Health's BABY MADNESS is a slam dunk for anyone who enjoys watching babies play and learning about their development. As a celebration of all things baby, BABY MADNESS offers unbeatable entertainment while providing the latest tips on raising a happy, healthy little one.

Discovery Health Media Enterprises is a national sponsor of the March of Dimes WalkAmerica, the nation's oldest and best-loved annual walking event. The event will take place the weekend of April 28-29 in most communities, raising funds to help prevent birth defects, infant mortality and stem the growing crisis of premature birth. WalkAmerica has raised more than $1.6 billion for the health of America's babies since 1970. Register for WalkAmerica by visiting walkamerica.org or by calling 1-800-525-WALK.

When BABY MADNESS premieres on Saturday, March 31, at 6 to 9 PM (ET/PT) on Discovery Health, viewers will have a courtside seat to see the babies dunk, shake and bake, and just act their age in the unique Discovery Health Arena.

BABY MADNESS, hosted by iconic sports anchor James Brown, a member of the March of Dimes Board of Advisors and Representatives, along with child development experts Dr. Sharon Ramey and Dr. Christina Johns, not only gives viewers great play-by-play commentary of the adorable action, but it also provides real insights into early child development and behavior.

Discovery Health Media Enterprises includes the Discovery Health and FitTV television networks and online assets including www.discoveryhealth.com, as well as its Continuing Medical Education (CME) business and Discovery's first stand-alone VOD service, Discovery Health On-Call.
