March of Dimes Visits The Today Show



NEW YORK, APRIL 24, 2007 – Eric and Laura Hansen of Elmsford, N.Y., brought their 11-month-old son Luke with them to visit the NBC “Today Show” this morning to help promote March of Dimes WalkAmerica, the nation's oldest and best walking event.  Luke was born prematurely at 28 weeks.  The Hansens are volunteering for WalkAmerica this weekend – Saturday/Sunday, April 28/29 -- and invite everyone to join them in raising money to help save babies from premature birth and other serious health problems.  To sign up for WalkAmerica, or to locate one of the more than 1,000 WalkAmerica sites in your area, go to walkamerica.org.
