“Ten Tips for Nine Healthy Months” Only at Kmart Stores
Hoffman Estates, Ill. – Moms-to-be looking for tips for a healthy pregnancy can now find them while they shop at Kmart. This year, Kmart's 25th annual in-store fundraising campaign to support the March of Dimes features an educational component to help women have full-term babies, including “Ten Tips to Nine Healthy Months,” a free take-home brochure with tips to a healthy pregnancy from March of Dimes experts. The brochure outlines 10 essential elements of a healthy pregnancy, including eating right, avoiding smoking and alcohol, exercising moderately and taking prenatal vitamins.
Kmart customers can make a donation of $1, $5 or $10 at any store cash register through May 10. Kmart is the March of Dimes longest standing corporate partner and contributor to its mission over the past 24 years, Kmart has raised more than $63 million to help the charity meet the needs of moms and babies. Kmart customers can sign up in stores to participate in March for Babies SM , formerly known as WalkAmerica®, which takes place during the last weekend in April in most communities.

This initiative is part of Kmart for KidsSM, the umbrella program for the retailer's philanthropic initiatives, which focuses on improving children's health and wellness. Kmart for Kids also aims at making it easier for mom to take care of the most important people in her life while she shops.
