March of Dimes and CIGNA Kick Off WalkAmerica Season at the New York Stock Exchange

NEW YORK, MARCH 22, 2004— The March of Dimes and its 10-year WalkAmerica partner CIGNA Corporation (NYSE-Listed CI) ceremonially closed the New York Stock Exchange to kick off the 2004 WalkAmerica season.  H. Edward Hanway, Chairman, President & CEO of CIGNA rang the Closing Bell with Dr. Jennifer L. Howse, President of the March of Dimes.  They were joined on the bell podium by:  Carol Ward, CIGNA's Corporate Secretary; Gregory Deavens, VP of Investor Relations; John Cannon III, Sr. VP Legal and Public Affairs; Catherine R. Kinney, President and Co-Chief Operating Officer, NYSE; Jane Massey, March of Dimes Chief Operating Officer; Eve Hauptman, Dir. of Events/ NY Chapter, March of Dimes; Renee Mitchell, top WalkAmerica participant and holder of a seat on the NYSE.  WalkAmerica 2004 will take place in more than 1,100 communities across the country, with most occurring on April 24  & 25.
