The Gymboree Corporation Charitable Donation Program

The Gymboree Corporation’s dedication to enhancing the lives of families began with its inception in 1976. It remains strong today, as the Company puts the fundraising force of its more than 7,000 employees and franchisees at its home office, distribution center and hundreds of U.S. retail stores and Play & Music locations behind the March of Dimes.

The Gymboree Corporation’s relationship with the March of Dimes began in 1993 with the decision to donate new, unused and unsold items to local March of Dimes chapters. Thousands of these items have been used as incentives in March of Dimes community programs such as Stork’s Nest and Comenzando bien, and many more have been donated to local health agencies, free clinics or other non-profit organizations serving women and children.

Today, The Gymboree Corporation also encourages and enables its employees to participate in WalkAmerica, resulting in the raising of thousands of dollars each year and a deeper and stronger relationship with the March of Dimes.
