March of Dimes Public Service Announcements

We're dedicated to educating the public on the seriousness of premature birth. Take a look at one of our most recent efforts.

For Every Baby
The 2007 Prematurity Campaign PSA pays tribute to babies who have lost their lives due to prematurity and to the hundreds of thousands who are fighting to survive. The television soundtrack and radio PSAs feature Tony Award winner Heather Headley singing the upbeat hit “Ooh Child”.

WalkAmerica 2007: There's Got to be a Better Way
March of Dimes WalkAmerica is the nation's largest fundraising event, with the money being used to help save America's babies. This video tells the story of the Goggin family's twins; Jack who died after a few days of life and Kate, who spent 4 months in the neonatal intensive care unit. Kate is now 7 and is pictured as one of the thousands of walkers who joyously participate in this event.

Ezekiel's Story
Following the premature birth of his son Zeek, Corey Taylor spent frightening days watching both his wife and their tiny baby fight for their lives. Zeek was born weighing just 1 pound 14 ounces and spent the first 103 days of his life in neonatal intenstive care. Today, Zeek is an artistic 8 year old who loves music, cooking, making greeting cards, and performing with a drum line. As the 2007 National Ambassador, Zeek and his family will travel the country to share their story, raising awareness of the seriousness of premature birth.
