POSITION PURPOSE:
Raise funds through effective event and volunteer management.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinate and assist in planning and implementing existing and new fundraising campaigns.
Manage and develop existing volunteers and recruit new volunteers to assist with fundraising activities and programs.
Assist in obtaining corporate sponsorships and donations.
Develop and maintain working relationships with community leaders and organizations to promote the March of Dimes message and build support for the March of Dimes mission.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Prior fundraising and special events experience
Experience working with, managing and developing groups of volunteers
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Strong computer skills
Ability to successfully manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
