  TITLE: Assistant Community Director

REPORTS TO: Division Director

LOCATION: Denver, CO

REASON FOR OPENING: Replacement

POSITION PURPOSE:
Raise funds through effective event and volunteer management.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Coordinate and assist in planning and implementing existing and new fundraising campaigns.
  • Manage and develop existing volunteers and recruit new volunteers to assist with fundraising activities and programs.
  • Assist in obtaining corporate sponsorships and donations.
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with community leaders and organizations to promote the March of Dimes message and build support for the March of Dimes mission.

 



QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Prior fundraising and special events experience
  • Experience working with, managing and developing groups of volunteers
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong computer skills
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
