POSITION PURPOSE:
Provide both administrative and clerical assistance to State Program Director and Community Voice Project Director
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Schedule meetings and appointments, communicate with constituents, make travel arrangements and assist with projects and the preparation of programs and events.
Assist with correspondence, reports, charts, overheads
Perform general duties such as greeting visitors, photocopying, faxing, answering inquiries, and handling incoming and outgoing communications.
Help maintain and develop relationships with external and internal constituents and stakeholders and coordinate as necessary publications and mailings to keep stakeholders informed.
Coordinate and assist with ongoing statewide community programming regular community meetings and community engagement projects.
Establish and maintain filing and record keeping system; Provide bookkeeping support for grant accounts, including tracking budget, paying invoices, processing reimbursements and requesting checks; supervise student workers as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
A High School Degree or Associate or Technical Equivalent: 2-3 years experience in working in an office setting
Previous not-for profit experience a plus
Experience in developing e-mails and word processing (MS Office preferred)
Great organization skills and the ability to multi task
Accounting and bookkeeping experience preferred
