TITLE: Administrative Assistant
REPORTS TO: Executive Director
LOCATION: Cranbury, NJ
REASON FOR OPENING: Replacement
POSITION PURPOSE:
Provides administrative support to Executive Director and fundraisers. Responsibilities include word processing, managing records and databases, meeting preparations, development of flyers and program journals.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide Administrative Support for Executive Director
- Database management and entry
- Handle large mailings.
- General office duties including answering telephone, filing, faxing, emails
- Event support to fundraising staff, such as sponsorship proposal, flyer, certificate and program journal preparations.
- Conduct web-based research
- Occasional offsite assistance at events.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Minimum two years administrative support experience.
- Excellent Computer Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Publisher. Some knowledge of graphics programs helpful
- Excellent people skills
- Strong Time management skills
- Strong Phone - Customer Service skills
- Ability to follow instructions
- Self Starter
- Some Evening Hours (Board Meetings and Special Events)
- Some physical labor required.
- Some travel within State of NJ.
- Degree preferred.
