POSITION PURPOSE:
Coordinates and implements existing fundraising campaigns and newly conceived campaigns. Works with current volunteers and seeks to recruit new volunteers.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinate and assist in planning and implementing existing fundraising campaigns
Organize and implement new fundraising campaigns
Manage and develop existing volunteers; recruit new volunteers to assist with fundraising activities and programs
Assists in efforts to obtain corporate sponsorships and donations
Work with program staff and volunteers to ensure that every event contains program content to enhance the knowledge of the audience and general public regarding the March of Dimes mission.
Lead position with major corporations and fundraising event/campaign
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
1-3 years related experience
Sales, Marketing, Volunteer Management and/or Development experience preferred
Strong computer, verbal and written communication skills are required
Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously is essential
