National Research Grants DO Come Back to Alabama
The goal of March of Dimes research is to improve the scientific knowledge base about birth and survival of healthy infants. We are committed to improving the health of Alabama's moms and babies. New knowledge from research is then relayed to health professionals and incorporated into community grants and programs to improve the health of all babies by preventing premature birth, birth defects and infant mortality.
Total Funding of National Grants to Alabama—$609,000*.
