Alabama Citizen of the Year 2010 Testimonial Dinner

Terry Kellogg, President & CEO of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama, has been named the March of Dimes 2010 Alabama Citizen of the Year of Birmingham. March of Dimes Alabama Citizen of the Year event honors an outstanding citizen of Alabama whose distinguished leadership and devoted service to the community have contributed greatly to the quality of life for Alabama and its people. The recipient is a person who, in the victory of achieving success and acclaim, has given back generously to others. The 2010 honoree, Terry Kellogg, President & CEO of Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Alabama, is no exception. Kellogg came to Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Alabama 28 years ago as Vice President & Chief Actuary. He has served as senior officer for the last 12 years and was named Executive Vice President in 2002. Kellogg is no stranger to giving back to the community. He currently serves on the Boards of the Birmingham Area Chapter of the American Red Cross and the Greater Alabama Council of the Boy Scouts of America. He also serves as an officer of the Business Council of Alabama and as Treasurer of the United Way of Central Alabama.
On Monday, November 8, 2010, the March of Dimes will host the Sixteenth Annual Alabama Citizen of the Year Testimonial Dinner honoring Terry Kellogg, President & CEO of Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Alabama at The Wine Loft in downtown Birmingham. The event will begin at 5:00 p.m. and continue through 7:30 p.m.
