Every year in the United States, more than half a million babies are born too soon, 1,200 of them right here in Alaska. With your help, we work to improve the health of babies and support families if something does go wrong.

Through programs and services in communities across Alaska, we promote healthy pregnancies and babies, and work to prevent premature birth and birth defects. We educate moms and support families in need.
The work of the March of Dimes Alaska Chapter is made possible by our many volunteers, donors and supporters. Thank you for giving your time and money, and lending your voice to support the health of babies.
The March of Dimes Alaska Chapter funds programs that address the unmet needs of moms and babies in our local community. The Alaska Chapter Community Grants Program is designed to invest in programs in Alaska that further the March of Dimes mission to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.
