The March of Dimes Mission
To improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality. We carry out this mission through research, community services, education and advocacy to save babies' lives.


Grand Rounds
The primary purpose of the grand grounds program is to provide continuing education for perinatal health care providers on topics relevant to the March of Dimes mission.





2009 Community Grants Program
Priority mission areas focus on improving the accessibility and quality of health care for women and infants.





Pregnancy Workshop
The Pregnancy Workshop is a step-by-step prenatal curriculum that informs women how to care for themselves and their babies during pregnancy.





Comenzando Bien
Comenzando bien is the March of Dimes prenatal education program for Hispanic women. It was developed in partnership with the National Alliance for Hispanic Health and is culturally and linguistically appropriate for Hispanic women.





Alaska Chapter Grant Program
The Alaska Chapter Community Grants Program is designed to invest in projects that support access to and quality of health care for women and infants, services related to prematurity and availability of prevention services.
