The event will be held August 24, 2013 at Sheraton Phoenix Downtown. Nurses have been true partners with March of Dimes beginning with our fight to end polio. March of Dimes Celebrates Excellence in Nursing
March of Dimes Arizona Chapter is seeking nominations for Arizona's Top Registered Nurses! Anyone can nominate a nurse in one of 14 different categories. Winners will be honored at the 10th Annual March of Dimes Nurse of the Year Awards Gala. The awards banquet will take place Saturday, August 24, 2013 at the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown.
Pertussis on the rise in Arizona
Over 850 cases of pertussis were reported in Arizona in 2011. There have already been over 750 cases reported along with one infant death so far in 2012. Please join Arizona Partners Against Pertussis (APAP) in a statewide campaign to reduce pertussis exposure to patients. Your support of this initiative is crucial. All healthcare personnel and staff are asked to get immunized against pertussis to decrease the spread of this contagious, yet preventable disease.
