You can become trained in the March of Dimes Folic Acid 400 program! Help women learn the importance of taking the B vitamin folic acid in order to reduce their risk of having a baby born with a birth defect!  A nurse will teach the course but in layman’s terms so no medical background is required. The training is only two hours and takes place at our March of Dimes office. After the training you would present the information to various organizations such as women’s health clinics, county health departments, etc on a volunteer basis.  If you are interested, Tuesday, July 14th from 2:30pm to 4:30pm will be the next training class.  Please email Debbie Ostler at dostler@marchofdimes.com if you would like to take the class.
