The Nurse of the Year Awards Gala is held to recognize outstanding nurses throughout Arizona as well as to:
- create awareness regarding the nursing shortage;
- foster our state’s nursing profession by providing scholarships for nursing students attending Arizona-based institutions;
- advance the March of Dimes mission of preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality through research, education, community services and advocacy;
- and provide nearly $100,000 in Arizona nursing scholarships over the last six years!
