Arkansas Chapter Programs
Awarded $35,200 in community grants around the state to organizations providing services that support our mission.

 

Central AR: UAMS ANGELS - professional education for high risk pregnancy center clinical providers on the use of the Five A’s smoking cessation model.  Statewide impact. 

Central AR:  Baptist Health Medical Center – Preterm Birth Prevention Seminar targeting health professionals.  Statewide impact.

Central AR:  Centers for Youth and Families – Home visitation and group services for pregnant Hispanic teens.

Northeast AR: Paces, Inc. – Home visitation and parent-led support group for teenage pregnant women and their families.

Healthy Babies, Healthy Business. Over 1 million employees have access to trusted pregnancy health information – for free—through Arkansas employers’ enrollment in our worksite wellness program.  Wal-Mart implemented a portion of the program and has already had more hits than any other employee group.
Helps employees to have healthier babies, employers to have more productive and healthier employees.

Advocacy -  Evidenced Based Actions to Prevent Infant Mortality

Natural Wonders established an Infant Mortality Action Group on which March of Dimes serves.
