The March of Dimes Arkanas Chapter will honor Representative Vic Snyder as the 2008 March of Dimes Citizen of Year at a gala dinner at the Peabody Grand Ballroom on August 15, 2008 at 6:30 p.m.
Every year since 1977, the March of Dimes has honored outstanding Arkansans as "Citizen of the Year." These Arkansans represent a great degree of community involvement, and each one stands out as having made a difference in the lives of Arkansans. The funds raised from the gala are used to fight premature birth, birth defects and infant mortality in Arkansas.
