A new baby brings plenty of joy, and many unknowns. If you have questions, you've come to the right place.
Have questions?
Can't wait to bring your baby home? Just make sure your house is ready. Find out what you really need and what to look for when purchasing baby gear. And don't forget to install that car seat. The hospitals won't let you take your little one home without a safe ride.
Your baby will grow at a blink-and-you-miss-it speed. Well baby visits are important to make sure he is developing healthy and is up to date on his vaccinations. They're also a good time to ask questions and bring up concerns. Also in store this year: baby's first cold, or any number of other common illnesses.
Your baby's needs, especially during the first days, are simple. Still, caring for your little one and keeping her safe will probably take up most of your time and all of your energy. Soon, you'll be a pro at diapering, bathing and feeding your baby.
When the unexpected happens and a baby is born too soon or with a birth defect, the experience can be frightening and overwhelming. Some babies have to spend time in newborn intensive care, and problems may continue at home. Sadly, some babies don't survive.
