Each year, the March of Dimes Califonia Chapter awards grants to organizations across the state in order to address unmet maternal and infant health needs.  

The highest priority is given to cost-efficient proposals that closely fit our funding priorities.

 
Community Grants Program: General Information

The California Chapter Community Grants Program is designed to invest in priority projects that further the March of Dimes mission, support national and state objectives, and further our strategic goal of reducing disparities in birth outcomes.

Community Grants
The Chapter is not currently accepting Community Service Grant proposals.  

Community Awards
Applications for 2009 Community Awards are closed.  Applications for 2010 Community Awards will be accepted from January 2010. Please click here for more information on our Community Awards program.

Examples of funding priority areas from previous years are listed below.  Please note that future funding priority areas may vary. 

  Increasing risk reduction education and/or services (excluding billable services) for all women of childbearing age.
  Enhancing education and support services (excluding billable services) for pregnant women that focus on reducing disparities in birth outcomes.
