S. Market St. & W. San Carlos St.
Welcome to March for Babies Silicon Valley! Registration opens at Plaza de Cesar Chavez at 8:00am. Our walk is kicked off by our March for Babies 2014 Chair Chris Boyd of Kaiser Permanente. The 2.75 mile walk leaves from Market St. and Park Ave., continues through downtown San Jose and San Jose State University, and wraps up back at the festival zone for a light lunch and family fun!
Public transportation is highly encouraged. Plaza de Cesar Chavez is conveniently located close to Caltrain and VTA Light Rail stops and is also along several major bus routes. (Plan your trip at http://transit.511.org) Parking is available at several garages and lots in downtown San Jose, some of which offer validation by local businesses. (www.sjdowntownparking.org) Dogs are allowed along the route and at Plaza de Cesar Chavez. Just be sure that you clean up any messes!
March for Babies is our biggest fundraising event of the year, the money you raise supports programs in your community that help moms have healthy, full-term pregnancies. And it funds research to find answers to the problems that threaten the health of babies.
