Toyota Raffle Flyer

Drawing takes place on July 17, 2013.  Ticket stubs must be returned or postmarked to March of Dimes by July 8, 2013.   The name of the winner will be posted on this page after August 20, 2013.

Q. Why so long between the drawing and the public notification?
A. March of Dimes California Chapter notifies the winner within 24 hours of the drawing. The period between the drawing and public notification is to allow time for the winner to respond and for the winner to complete the legal documents.

March for Babies Incentives

If you have questions about gift cards or other March for Babies incentives, please review the information below.

Q. What is an incentive?
A. It is our way of saying thank you for raising money to ensure that one day all babies are born healthy.  Incentives are available only to individual walkers, one incentive per walker.  Money raised offline must be turned in using a sponsor envelope clearly labeled with your first and last name.  Monies raised through promotional events such as bake sales or Toyota Raffle Ticket sales are not eligible - only donations from your family, friends and community count towards the incentive total. The best way to ensure you are in the system is to sign up for a personal fundraising page at www.marchforbabies.org. 

* Choice of Macy's or Kmart gift card.  Prizes are awarded based on individual fundraising not including sales of items.  The Kmart gift card is redeemable for goods and services at over 3,500 participating Kmart, Sears, Lands’ End, and The Great Indoors retail locations in the U.S. and online at Sears.com, Kmart.com, and Landsend.com

Top Walker Incentives

If you raise $1,000 or more, you will also be entered to win a trip to the March of Dimes Volunteer Leadership Conference in Washington, D.C.  You will also be entered into a drawing to win two tickets on United Airlines anywhere in the 48 contiguous United States, Alaska, Canada, Carribean, Mexico or Central American.  (And you will receive an additional entry for every $250 raised thereafter.)

To be eligible for both drawings: Eligibility is based on money received before May 31, 2013.   Drawings will be held on June 19, 2013.  Winner need not be present to win.

Q. When do I get my t-shirt?
A. If you didn't pick up your March for Babies T-Shirt on Walk Day, you can request that it be mailed to you. Please contact your local March of Dimes office to submit your request, or email us at ca608@marchofdimes.com.

Q. When do I get my gift card?
A. In July or August, you will receive a thank-you letter from March of Dimes National Headquarters along with an acceptance form for your incentive gift card.  You MUST return this form (preferably within 2 weeks) in order to receive your gift card.  You will have a chance to change your delivery address on the form.  You will also be able to tell us the type of gift card  (Macy’s or Kmart*) you want to receive or to  donate the amount of the card back to March of Dimes. 

You can also accept your gift and update your address at www.marchforbabiesthankyou.org using your walker ID and registered zip code to log in. Once your gift card choice is received and processed, March of Dimes will order your card with the vendor; please be advised that it can take up to 8 weeks to receive your card directly from the vendor via First Class Mail.

Q. Why didn’t I ever receive my thank-you letter?
A. There is a good chance the address you provided when you began your fundraising campaign is not current.  It is a good idea to contact your local March of Dimes office with updated information to avoid this problem.  Also, it is recommended that you provide your home address,  as sometimes personal mail sent to business addresses gets returned or lost on the way to the recipient.
