Farmers sows outstanding results What is a hero? Certainly, someone who tackles a challenge head on. Also, someone who does good for others. On both of these accounts, the agents and employees of Farmers Insurance Group fit the bill! On Tuesday, June 3, Farmers hosted its annual Be a Hero for Babies Day. The one-day fundraising challenge collected more than $3 million for March of Dimes healthy baby programs in Colorado and nationwide. Congratulations and thank you to all of our friends at Farmers!
Congratulations to our advocacy volunteers The chapter achieved three important victories in the state legislature on behalf of babies, moms and kids during the 2008 session. Click and read all about it.

Our current health tip Before you get pregnant is the time to achieve your ideal weight. If you’re overweight before you become pregnant, you’re more likely to develop high blood pressure and diabetes during pregnancy. If you’re underweight, you’re more likely to have a low birthweight baby. Talk to your healthcare provider about getting to the weight that's best for you.
