March of Dimes Welcomes Jackson as New Corporate Supporter
05-Jun-07
Life Insurance Company to Sponsor Local Mission and Fundraising Programs

DENVER, Colo. / Jackson National Life Insurance Company (Jackson) has signed on as a new supporter of the March of Dimes. The financial company recently made a $60,000 contribution to the March of Dimes for a one-year sponsorship of fundraising events and a mission program called NICU Family Support. This March of Dimes initiative (housed at The Children’s Hospital) offers information, resources and comfort to families of critically ill newborns in the neonatal intensive care unit (or NICU).

In addition to sponsorship, Jackson has committed volunteer resources to the March of Dimes. Clifford Jack, EVP and Chief Distribution Officer for Jackson, has accepted a seat on the Colorado chapter board of directors. Plus, Jackson employees formed a team for WalkAmerica and participated in the March of Dimes event on Saturday, April 28 at Civic Center Park, raising $2600 through individually collected donations.

Through the newly formed Jackson National Community Fund (JNCF), Jackson and its employees will focus their charitable efforts toward community enrichment programs, institutions of higher learning and charitable organizations, with a focus on organizations, programs and events dedicated to enhancing the lives of children and the elderly. The Jackson National Community Fund was established to strengthen Jackson’s existing commitment to supporting and improving the communities in which the majority of its nearly 3,000 employees work and live—Lansing, Mich.; Denver, Colo.; Chicago, Ill.; and, Santa Monica, Calif. For more information about the JNCF and its application guidelines, please visit the “About JNL” section at jnl.com or contact Annie Whitehouse, Jackson’s Community Relations Manager, at 1-877-930-3843.
