| DENVER, Colo. / The March of Dimes today announced the winners of its 2007 outstanding supporter awards. Their accomplishments were celebrated at a recent event, March of Dimes Volunteer Leadership Day.
Denver metro area volunteers honored were: Kathryn Marshall (104 West Partners), outstanding committee member; Shari Blake Schnee (Boulder Jewish Community Center), outstanding committee chair; Kyle Samuel (Aon Risk Services), outstanding board member; Deborah Takahara (Fox 31 News), outstanding media support; and, Kerrie Schultz (Hinckley High School), volunteer of the year. Kroenke Sports Enterprises also received an award, for outstanding corporate support.
Twelve other volunteers and sponsors from elsewhere in Colorado were also honored for their efforts. So too were the top-ten Colorado supporters of March of Dimes WalkAmerica, the organization’s largest annual fundraising event. These were (in order from number one): Farmers Insurance Group; Loaf ‘N Jug; Knowledge Learning Corporation; Kmart; Bank of the West; Citi; The Children’s Hospital; ACE Cash Express; CIGNA; and, TCF Bank.
