Our friends at Lamar Construction commissioned Paul Jr. Designs to build a custom theme-bike for the March of Dimes. The bike build and reveal were featured on this season's American Chopper: Senior vs. Junior on the Discovery Channel. What's more, this beauty can be yours! Just purchase a raffle ticket for $20. Advocate

The March of Dimes speaks out for laws and legislation that improve care for women and children in Colorado and across the country. Our team of grassroots volunteers and staff promote the mission agenda by contacting the governor and state legislators in response to Colorado action alerts. Whether promoting increased health care coverage and prevention measures or supporting research and public policy studies, learn how you can make a difference.

Colorado Advocacy Issues and Priorities

An advocate is a person who defends causes for other people. As the champion for babies, the March of Dimes campaigns to improve the health of women, babies and children; we defend the needs of children born with birth defects; and, we speak out to decrease the number of infant deaths. You can join us in carrying out our lifesaving mission! E-mail us to become a member of Colorado Voice, our state’s March of Dimes advocacy network. You will receive periodic e-mails with information about federal and state bills and regulations that improve health care for pregnant women and their youngsters. Each year, we set out to lead the passage of bills that are central to the March of Dimes mission. As a member of Colorado Voice, you will be invited to share your opinion and make a difference by contacting your senators and representatives. You will receive easy-to-follow instructions, including contact information for your legislators and key speaking points to support your position. It’s simple, yet very effective! If you are a long-time March of Dimes supporter or just giving for the first time, we could not work to save babies without the generosity and commitment of people like you. Your donation supports programs in your community that help moms have healthy pregnancies and babies begin healthy lives. And it provides comfort to families with a sick or premature baby. 

Volunteer

Our work is made possible by thousands of volunteers. There are many ways to assist us in helping babies, moms and families close to home. You can take part in selling sponsorship opportunities, recruiting new volunteers, coordinating outreach to mission families, serving on our Advocacy and Government Affairs Committee, assisting with marketing communications or public relations and much more.
