Form A Family Team
Are you a parent, relative or friend of a premature baby, a baby born with birth defects or other health problems or children who spent time in neonatal intensive care? Join March for Babies by forming a Family Team!

A message from April Boccasile - Family Teams Chair 2009:
"Why do I walk for Babies?  I walk for babies for the same reason that you do...so that someday all babies will be born healthy.  I walk for babies to thank all of the families that walked for babies before I even had my baby...they saved her life.  I walk for babies to thank all of the nurses and doctors that tirelessly cared for my baby...they saved her life.  I walk for your baby...to save your baby's life.  I walk for babies for the babies that aren't born yet...to save their lives.

There are too many stories like mine, like yours and like hundreds of thousands of families that endure the horror of being the parent of a premature baby or the parent of a NICU baby.  There are too many of us with too much in common.  I am the mother of 3 miracles, all healthy today with thanks to the March of Dimes.  We became involved with the March of Dimes after our daughter Isabella was born 26 weeks gestation, weighing a mere 1 pound and 12 ounces.  To us she was still perfect, she was still beautiful, she was still our daughter who we were madly in love with.  Her months spent in the NICU are a time that my husband and I will never forget.  Our daughter taught us the importance of life and to cherish everyday."
