Mystic-Groton March for Babies

Maybe you participate in March for Babies to celebrate a healthy baby in your life. Or you may walk to honor a little fighter or remember a baby who didn’t survive. It could be your company gets involved and you’re walking with your co-workers. Whatever your reason, we’re glad you’re joining in. With every step you take, you’re helping babies begin healthy lives.
In Groton participants will enjoy a 4- mile walk as well as music, food, activities for the kids and more. *Due to uneven terrain on the walk route, larger-wheeled strollers and wagons are encouraged.

Join us as we kick off March for Babies with a “wild” celebration at the Garde Arts Center! The afternoon starts with a visit from live penguins, courtesy of the Mystic Aquarium, along with fun activities for the kids. Then stay for a showing of “Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa,” brought to you by the Garde Arts and National Sea Research Foundation. Tickets for the Penguin Party/Movie are just $12 for adults, $6 for kids.
Following the movie, we’ll kick into March for Babies fun with food, festivities and more! And win a chance at some great prizes including a gift card from Bob’s Discount Furniture, tickets to an upcoming event at the Garde and more. A not-to-be-missed event!
3:00 p.m.: Penguin Party
4:00 p.m.: “Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa”
5:30 p.m.: March for Babies Kick Off*
*March for Babies kick off starting at 5:30 p.m. free of charge. Participants do not have to attend the penguin party/move to attend the kick off.
