Join the March of Dimes at the 13th annual March of Dimes Fairfield County Real Estate Awards Breakfast honoring John J. DiMenna, Jr. of Seaboard Properties, Inc. Over 850 industry professionals are expected to attend. The 2007 Real Estate Award event raised over $500,000 (an event record) in support of the March of Dimes mission to save babies.
Seaboard Properties Incorporated was founded in 1991 with a strategy to acquire properties that accommodate the requirements of small businesses. Throughout the 1990s, Seaboard focused on office properties in Fairfield County, primarily in the city of Stamford. In 2001, Seaboard ventured into the residential market, beginning with the purchase of the Biltmore Apartments, and eventually adding the Clocktower Close loft condominiums in Norwalk, and the Beacon Mill Village in Beacon Falls, CT. In 2007, they sold a large portion of their office portfolio to Antares Partners and began two residential developments in downtown Stamford - Century Tower and 11 Forest Street. In addition, Seaboard continued to build up its office portfolio with the purchase of 88 Hamilton Avenue and 1 Atlantic Street, its new downtown headquarters.
