One June 6th, the March of Dimes Connecticut Chapter announced that The University of Connecticut Health Center has been chosen for the March of Dimes NICU Family SupportSM project. This project will complement UConn staff members in helping provide information and comfort to families with premature and other critically ill infants being cared for in the Neonatal Intensive Care Nursery. The project is one of only 39 sites in the country and is the only one in Connecticut. The March of Dimes NICU Family Support Program in Connecticut is provided in part through a grant by NewAlliance Foundation, a proud partner of the March of Dimes Prematurity Campaign.
