Hartford Marathon Training

New in Fall 2008 — Dream of running your first marathon but need to know where to start?  Or are you a veteran runner looking for some fresh motivation? Then join the March of Dimes Hartford Marathon Training Team led by 8-time marathon runner and trainer Deb Poudrier.  The Hartford Marathon is October 11. 5K, half marathon (13.1 miles) or full race (26.2 miles) options.

Here's what you'll receive:
*Marathon entry fee
*Team gear
*18-20 week training program
*Camaraderie and companionshp on long group runs
*Education on running, nutrition, injury prevention and more
*Pre-marathon party
*Fundraising support
*Power breakfast the morning of the marathon

Training begins in July.  Group run dates, locatios and times will be emailed to you once registered.

Your responsiblity:
*A registration fee of $80 is due at the time of registration and will counttowards your fundraising goal. 
*Raise $750 for the March of Dimes.  Additional incentives are offered for raising $1,000 ore mr.
