The Farmer and The Chef 2009

Join us for the 2nd Annual The Farmer and The Chef. The event is a fundraiser for the March of Dimes with proceeds going directly to the March of Dimes!
The premise of the event is simple, pair local farmers with local chefs. While the event is a fundraiser for the March of Dimes, we are also helping to create sustainable relationships between local farmers and chefs, while reinforcing the movement of eating healthy. The event itself will feature local farmers who will provide their product to chefs who will then prepare tasting samples to all event attendees using this product.
Attendees will also be able to cast their vote for their favorite dish. There will also be a silent auction with lots of great items! If you would like to donate an item to the silent auction there is a link below to the auction donation form.
The March of Dimes wants to do its part in the community so…..this year we are doing a collection of non-perishable food items for the Food Bank of Delaware. Please bring your donations to The Farmer and The Chef on Sept. 17. Everyone benefits when we all work together!
