The March of Dimes Mission
To improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality. We carry out this mission through research, community services, education and advocacy to save babies' lives.


March of Dimes and Partners Meet to Implement Plans to Improve Birth Outcomes
The Florida Perinatal Quality Collaborative (FPQC) recently held its first summit in Gainesville.  The summit included more than 100 participants from hospitals and health organizations throughout Florida. 





Grand Rounds
Our medical and nursing grand rounds programs help provide continuing education for perinatal health care providers on topics relevant to the March of Dimes mission.

MOMmobile
The March of Dimes MOMmobile is a mobile prenatal care clinic designed to operate like a traditional health care provider’s office in South Miami.





Stork's Nest
Stork’s Nest is a cooperative project of the March of Dimes and the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. that provides prenatal education and incentives for low-income pregnant women.



Project Alpha
This collaborative project of the March of Dimes and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. provides young males with education, motivation and skill-building on issues of responsibility, relationships, teen pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases.




Comenzando Bien
Comenzando bien is the March of Dimes prenatal education program for Hispanic women. It was developed in partnership with the National Alliance for Hispanic Health and is culturally and linguistically appropriate for Hispanic women.




Pregnancy Workshop
The Pregnancy Workshop is a step-by-step prenatal curriculum that informs women how to care for themselves and their babies during pregnancy.
