March for Babies South Volusia County
New Smyrna Beach

March for Babies Chair Debbie Connors of Port Orange South Daytona Chamber of Commerce, along with Honorary Chair Suzanne Kosmas, and 2010 Ambassador Family, Kelly, Matthew, and Jordyn Gasowski invite you to join local businesses, Family Teams, individual participants, and volunteers for a day of fun with entertainment, food, exercise, and activities for all ages.

Kelly and Matthew Gasowski learned that their baby would be born with the most severe form of Spina Bifida.  At birth, Jordyn was rushed to surgery to repair her spine and spent 7 days in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).  She has since undergone 2 additional surgeries to correct the inward rotation of her ankles and the removal of her left kidney.  Today, 6 year-old Jordyn enjoys playing soccer and tennis, reading books, swimming, and spending time with family and friends.

When you participate in March for Babies, you give hope to the more than half a million babies born too soon each year. The money you raise supports programs in your community that help moms have healthy, full-term pregnancies. And it funds research to find answers to the problems that threaten our babies. We’ve been walking since 1970 and have raised an incredible $1.8 billion to benefit all babies.

Registration opens at 7:30 a.m.
March for Babies starts at 8:30 a.m.
