March for Babies St. Lucie County
IRSC/FAU St. Lucie West Joint Campus
St. Lucie County’s March for Babies event is a fun-filled day to help a great cause! With your help this annual event continues to be a success! Join event chairs Pat Alley, president of Riverside National Bank, and Anthony Westbury, columnist for Scripps Treasure Coast Newspapers in the fight for healthy babies. March for Babies is the walk that aims to give every baby a healthy start!
The March of Dimes champions the needs of moms and babies in our community and across the nation.
The walk route is approximately four miles beginning and ending at the IRSC/FAU St. Lucie West Joint Campus. So put on your marching shoes and join the nearly 600 walker and volunteers representing businesses, organizations, and schools from St. Lucie County.
When you participate in March for Babies, you give hope to the more than half a million babies born too soon each year. The money you raise supports programs in your community that help moms have healthy, full-term pregnancies. And it funds research to find answers to the problems that threaten our babies. We’ve been walking since 1970 and have raised an incredible $1.8 billion to benefit all babies.
Registration opens at 7:30 a.m. March for Babies starts at 8:30 a.m. Team Photos taken from 7:30 to 8:00 a.m. Awards Presentation at 8:15 a.m.
