Sonny’s Real Pit Bar-B-Q Raises Over $33,000 to Help Give All Babies a Health Start

Sonny’s Real Pit Bar-B-Q restaurants across the Southeast raised over $33,000 during its six week “Baby Backs for Babies” promotion, with more than $28,000 raised in Florida.

                                                                     “Baby Backs for Babies” was an inaugural system-wide fundraiser whereby a portion of the proceeds from every baby back plate sold benefited the March of Dimes in honor of the restaurant chain’s 40th anniversary.

“Sonny’s and March of Dimes have had an excellent partnership over the past three years locally; we chose to expand the partnership across our chain. We are excited to have surpassed our fundraising goal with the vast majority of our franchisees joining the initiative,” said Bob Yarmuth, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Sonny’s Franchise Company.

                                                                                            Sonny’s has partnered with the March of Dimes Florida Chapter on various community initiatives including participating in the March for Babies, Signature Chefs, and Mud Volleyball.
