18th Annual Polk County Chefs Auction

The Auction pays tribute to the culinary excellence of the area’s Chefs. The program will feature and promote the international flavor of the Polk County area in an atmosphere both elegant and fun-filled. Approximately 27 chefs from the area will donate an imaginative dining package to be auctioned. The package will be described in a program booklet with a biography of the Chef and Restaurant.
Approximately 27 decorated stations will enhance the festive appeal of each establishment. Chefs will offer specially prepared hors d’ouvres and desserts as a taste test opportunity for those in attendance at the event. The Gourmet Dinner & Wine Tasting welcomes you to relax and enjoy an elegant eveing of spectacular dinner presentations by six of the hottest chefs in all of central Florida. They will be accompanied by several extremely knowledgeable sommeliers offering truly unique wines for this joyful celebration.
You will also be able to bid on dinners created by these six outstanding chefs in their own restaurants. The VIP Cocktail Party hosted by our Honorary Chairpersons Hope & Michael Holley at their home to thank all of the corporate sponsors, whose support has helped carry on the mission of the March of Dimes by improving the health of babies by preventing birth defects and infant mortality.

The 18th Annual Polk County Chefs Auction will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2008 from 6:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
The 18th Annual Polk County Chefs Auction Cocktail Party will be held on October 2, 2008 from 7:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
