Funds are available for state and local programs
March of Dimes Florida Chapter is currently requesting concept papers for our Community Grants Program for the 2008 funding cycle. Community grants do not support research* projects for individuals.
Requests for funding must match March of Dimes mission of saving babies by preventing birth defects, preterm birth, and infant mortality and that address unmet maternal and child health needs.
State Grants are awarded in amounts ranging from $10,000 to $50,000 and must address one of the priority areas outlined in the Request for Proposals. Division grants vary in amount – for information on amounts available for division grants, contact the division office in your area (see below).
The Florida Chapter Grants Program is designed to enable communities and organizations to develop projects that further March of Dimes mission and support national and state objectives. Organizations are encouraged to develop proposals that demonstrate their capacity, competence and experience in addressing March of Dimes priorities through well-developed project goals and objectives.
