March of Dimes Florida Chapter Board of Directors recently gathered for a full-day retreat in Tampa.

The board met with key staff members including March of Dimes National Board of Trustee Brent Minor, National Director of Special Projects Michelle Shafer, and Florida State Director Debbie Dawson to plan strategies for the upcoming year while being recognized for achieving outstanding success in fundraising, program, public affairs, and communication.

In addition, the board received an orientation conducted by faculty and board member Rick Gallo, who is a member of the National March of Dimes Volunteer Institute.
