Ft. Myers, Florida, November 01, 2012
Scott Fischer, CEO of Scott Fischer Enterprises, has been volunteering with the March of Dimes for over 12 years. He has been instrumental in starting and growing the Southwest Coast Bikers for Babies and has helped raise over $1 million with hundreds of bikers participating each year.
As the 2012 and 2013 Bikers for Babies chair, Scott has applied his vision and leadership which helped him grow his company from one Harley-Davidson dealership to five, to the success and growth of Bikers for Babies.
“The March of Dimes is a cause that touches everyone in our customer base and one we believe in – stronger, healthier babies. The funds from this event are raised primarily from the motorcycle groups in our community, it gives them a way to participate in supporting their community while doing what they like best-riding and it strengthens our brand in the community.”
Scott owns five Harley-Davidson locations; two in Florida, one in Alabama, one in North Carolina, and one in New Mexico with over 280 employees and $100M in revenue. Out of 600 dealerships in the country, it is the largest group of Harley-Davidson dealerships in the world. Scott grew up in Columbus, Ohio and relocated to Fort Myers over 20 years ago, and has worked in the motorsports industry since he was 15. Scott has served the President of the National Dealer Advisory Council for the Harley-Davidson Motor Company, and is currently the President of the Florida Harley-Davidson Dealer Association.
