As an active volunteer with the March of Dimes for more than two decades, Dan currently serves on both the March of Dimes Florida Chapter Advocacy and Government Affairs and Program Services Committees where he served as chair, and served on the March of Dimes Florida Chapter Board of Directors.
He is always available to reach out to Legislators and share the mission of the March of Dimes. This past February, he was one of 36 volunteers that traveled to Florida’s Capitol to advocate for increased funding for the Florida Birth Defects Registry among other March of Dimes legislative priorities.

Dan is involved in outreach and community education and serves on several committees (both elected and as a volunteer). Dan participates as a speaker for March of Dimes, and for Orlando Health and the National Society of Genetic Counselors. He has served on the American Board of Genetic Counseling Board of Directors and also provides consulting services to a local infertility specialist.
