Thank you for signing our petition for a Google Doodle in honor of Prematurity Awareness Day. While we are sorry that the Doodle didn’t work out, we appreciate that Google considered our appeal.
We're pleased and honored to have received over 75,500 signatures from our great supporters. As a result of your blog posts, message threads, and e-mails, you have helped raise awareness of our mission to save babies from premature birth and its consequences. November is all about Change
During Prematurity Awareness Month, we expect that more than 100 buildings and monuments across the country will be lit in pink and blue to "shed light on" the crisis of premature birth and the need for change.

At the same time, we're launching a coin campaign encouraging people to "Join the March of Dimes" and donate their spare change to help save babies from premature birth. Whether it's the current contents of your pocket, or the change building up in the mason jar in your sock drawer, it can help. Just take it to one of over 11,000 local coin collection centers and donate it to the March of Dimes.
