The 21st Annual March of Dimes Dining Out offers an evening filled with Atlanta’s most delectable dining and great fun all in the name of giving to a great cause! Featured restaurants host a dinner – including food, wine and service – for a party of 10 invited guests. Proceeds will benefit the Georgia Chapter of the March of Dimes, whose mission is to prevent birth defects and premature births in Georgia’s babies!

ATLANTA, GA – Mark your calendars for a mouth-watering affair to remember! The date for one of Atlanta’s top culinary and best-loved fundraisers has been set. On the evening of Friday, May 20, 2005, the 21st Annual March of Dimes Dining Out charity event returns to serve up a taste of Atlanta’s best cuisine from many of Atlanta’s preeminent restaurants while raising proceeds for the Georgia Chapter of the March of Dimes.

Filled with delectable dining and great fun, the evening begins with dinner – including food, wine and service – for a party of 10 guests donated and hosted by one of several participating Atlanta restaurants. Dinner, however, is just the beginning of this one-of-a-kind dining experience. After dinner, the evening continues with an after-party at The Four Seasons Hotel.

In addition to music and dancing, the after-party will also feature desserts, coffees, cordials and entertainment, capped off with the ever-popular silent auction. You won’t want to miss bidding on trips, restaurant gift certificates, concert tickets and so much more!

Guests will pay $85 or $125 per person, depending on the restaurant chosen and all of the proceeds will go to the Georgia Chapter of the March of Dimes. A full list of participating restaurants will be announced soon.

The March of Dimes is a national voluntary health agency whose mission is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects and infant mortality. Founded in 1938, the March of Dimes funds programs of research, community services, education, and advocacy to save babies and in 2003 launched a five-year campaign to address the increasing rate of premature birth.
