Cobb County's Signature Chefs Auction was a success this year. Over two hundred patrons showed up to taste the exquisite cuisine of area restaurants and to rally around the March of Dimes mission of improving the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.

Over $140,000 was raised that night which goes directly to funding community projects, education, and research. The live auction was a big hit with high end items being sold at prices that make anyone want to raise their paddle for a bid. Items included mens and ladies Rolex watches, diamonds, trips to the Napa Valley for private wine tours, and one of a kind paintings.

Hardin Construction was the honoree of the night. They are a huge support to the March of Dimes and particularly the Cobb County area. A special thank you also to the event co-chairs Gannon Gingrey-Manning and Diane Tatum. It was a special night for a special cause.
