Achievement in Radio (A.I.R.) Awards
Intercontinental Hotel Buckhead
In 1938, radio personality Eddie Cantor first coined the term “March of Dimes.” Thus began the legacy of mutual respect and partnership between the radio industry and one of the world’s most successful charities. This partnership has helped eradicate polio and promoted prenatal care and healthier babies.
In 1996, the premier Atlanta Achievement in Radio (A.I.R.) Awards was produced by the March of Dimes to build on the spirit of the partnership and to provide an opportunity for camaraderie and celebration of radio. Over time The Atlanta A.I.R. Awards have become an event that celebrates excellence in Atlanta radio broadcasting, while affirming the historic partnership of the March of Dimes and radio, and generating support for March of Dimes programs in infant and maternal health.
This year will mark the 12th Annual A.I.R. Awards in the Atlanta market. For more information, contact Brittney Gray Gove at 404-350-9800 or bgove@marchofdimes.com
